TLC FAMILY OF CAMPS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

In the spirit of our STARFISH values program, we’re excited to inform our
camp families that our sister camp, Hampton Country Day Camp (HCDC) has partnered with the East Hampton Food Pantry to serve as their new, temporary location during the off-season months of November, 2016 thru April, 2017.

For the past 4+ summers, as part of HCDC’s “Helping Hands” community service initiative, similar to that of our own ‘SCC Gives Back’ community service initiative that involves a summer food drive to the Human Resources of The Hamptons located on Hill St, HCDC & SCC families have donated an unbelievable number of items to help those less fortunate than ourselves in the Hamptons.  It’s very exciting to see HCDC go that one step further, build upon their existing relationship and giving back to the local community by providing an off-season “home-base” to the Food Pantry which delivers food to 300-400 families weekly in the winter!

It is exciting to be able to build upon our existing relationships and give back to the local community.  STARFISH shoutout to HCDC!!
