Unplugged At Camp: Steve Job’s Perspective

Thats right, the man who created the iPad, the iPod, and the iPhone, was a low tech parent and limited his children’s exposure to the very things that many of us are addicted to!  At SRCC we actively promote campers being “unplugged” during their time with us – whether it be on the bus to camp or during the day (something we enforce for our staff also!).

Camp is a great place for our campers to talk to one another, to play, to express their imagination and creativity, without using their thumbs and focusing on a screen. Something that, at times, appears to be quickly becoming a lost art.
