2023 Staff Introductions

 

ELLIOT PEGG (Club Director)

Elliot originally hails from Southampton, England. He began his coaching career at David Lloyd fitness clubs where he assisted the head coach with junior programs and taught private lessons to all ages. Elliot Graduated with a Sports Coaching and Physical Education degree at Oxford Brookes University before moving out to The States full time in May, 2012. Elliot worked at multiple Cliff Drysdale facilities including Stratton Mountain, VT, Amelia Island, FL and Hawks key, Fl before starting his first Director Position at Red Ledges, UT. In 2015 he became the Director of Tennis in Southampton, NY and was also the Director of Tennis at Omni Rancho Las Palmas, CA during the off season. Elliot moved to NY full time in 2019 as a Senior Director full time whilst running SRC in the summers. 2022 will be Elliot’s 7th season and he is excited to bring his passion and enthusiasm for the game for yet another season in Southampton.

 

LUKE TAPLIN (Pro)

Luke comes to us from Auckland, New Zealand, where he grew up competing in Tennis at a high level. Luke regularly competed in tournaments from the time he was 12, and after years of training and competing at local, and regional tournaments; he progressed to National tournaments, teams events, and ITF competitions around New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific Islands. In 2016, Luke embarked on a collegiate Tennis career at St. Thomas Aquinas College in New York, graduating after much success in the spring of 2020. This is Luke’s fifth season in Southampton, after a few years’ hiatus coaching, alongside working as a financial analyst back in Auckland. Luke regularly runs weekday clinics, and private lessons at the club, as well as traveling to home lessons. He is back with a full-time role with Cliff Drysdale and keen to start up his next chapter here in a familiar Southampton.

 

MAX ALDRIDGE (Pro)

Max will be joining the SRC team for his second season. Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Max have been playing tennis competitively for 9 years and coaching for 7 years. Max will be joining the CDT touring team after the summer, teaching at events and camps at a lot of our different locations in The US.

Max’s favorite player player is Nick Kyrgios and he has a huge passion for music and is a big NBA and UFC fan.

He is looking forward to meeting new people, working with existing/regular clients and hopes to see you all on the court soon!

LUKE TANNER (Pro)

Luke will be joining us for his second season in Southampton working for Cliff Drysdale. Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Luke played tennis competitively back in New Zealand throughout juniors. He is now a full-time coach, joining CDT at Southampton for the summer and joining the touring team where he will be teaching at events and camps all across the country!

Luke is super excited about returning this season and is looking forward to seeing everyone again as well as meeting new people.

TABITHA PORTER (Pro)

Tabi hails from Auckland, NY where she began her 12 years of competiting at junior ITF events, college tennis and WTA events all around the world. Tabi has since returned to New Zealand to pursue tennis coaching full time working with high level performance juniors and adults. With a huge passion for movement and well-being, Tabi also enjoys instructing strength, conditioning and plyometric training in both group fitness and one-on-one environments. This will be Tabi’s first season with us as she travels around the globe to share her passion for tennis as well as strength and conditioning at SRC. 

 

NATALIE KMOSKOVA (Pro)

Natalie is a graduate of the University of South Dakota, where she played Division I college tennis a on full athletic scholarship. She was named an ITA scholar in 2022 and earned Coyote Character Award in 2020. She was ranked #14 in the U18 category in the Czech Republic. Natalie has a wealth of coaching experience coaching at her home club TJ Tesla Pardubice summer camps for multiple seasons. She will complete her master’s degree in Sports Management this spring prior to joining the Cliff Drysdale Team at Southampton Racquet Club.

 

BRANDON JAGGON (Pro)

Brandon has been playing tennis since he was 11 years old joining Bath Lawn Tennis Club (UK) in 2009!  He started volunteering as a coach on a Saturday morning for 3 hours a week at the age of 12. Following this he attained his tennis leaders, level 1, 2 and the 3 coaching qualification by the age of 18.

At Bath Lawn Tennis Club, Brandon was appointed senior coach and in the absence of the club manager he was in charge of the venue.

At 19 he moved from Bath Lawn Tennis Club to The University of Bath coaching for Team Bath Tennis.  Through his time there he worked with a variety of standards ranging from beginners to national and international level.  He’s has also been in charge of the university development squads and cardio tennis.
